COME AS YOU ARE

You’ve been carrying so much, for so long.

Life experiences, grief, and trauma can teach us to protect ourselves, push through difficult emotions, and care for everyone but ourselves.

Wounded, Wild & Worthy is a five-day women’s grief and wellness retreat in the Texas Hill Country, offering space to recognize old survival patterns and rediscover connection. Through equine experiences, somatic practices, time in nature, nourishing meals, and meaningful community, we’ll explore what it means to move beyond simply surviving and begin living with greater freedom, trust, and gratitude.

You don’t have to navigate the hard things alone.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF…

Something in you is asking to come home.

Wounded, Wild & Worthy is for you if…

  • You’ve spent so much time being strong for everyone else that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to be supported.
  • You’re navigating grief, loss, or a major life transition and longing to feel like yourself again.
  • You’re ready to move beyond survival mode and explore a healthier relationship with rest, trust, and receiving care.
  • You’re curious about how equine experiences, somatic movement, and time in nature can help you reconnect with yourself.
  • You’re seeking a genuine sense of belonging among women who understand that healing isn’t meant to happen alone.

No experience with horses, somatic practices, or cold immersion is necessary. Come exactly as you are.

THE HEART OF THE RETREAT

Wounded. Wild. Worthy.

Three essential parts of the journey: acknowledging what we’ve carried, reconnecting with what makes us feel alive, and remembering our inherent worth.

Four women seated in a circle on the grass during an outdoor connection and reflection gathering at the Wounded, Wild & Worthy women's retreat in the Texas Hill Country.

Wounded

ACKNOWLEDGING WHAT WE CARRY

Room for the stories that shaped you. Meeting yourself with compassion instead of judgment, and being seen without pressure to share more than you want to.

Women gathered around a glowing stone fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows beneath string lights during the Wounded, Wild & Worthy women's retreat.

Wild

REDISCOVERING FREEDOM THROUGH CONNECTION

Rediscover the parts of yourself that have been waiting to come alive. Through connection with horses, explore trust, boundaries, and new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Worthy

LEARNING TO RECEIVE

Experience what it means to be worthy of care, love, and belonging, apart from what you give, do, or endure. Through intentional moments of receiving, practice expressing your needs, accepting support, and allowing yourself to be cared for.

FROM JENNIFER “SUKI”

It’s what happens in between that changes us.

My favorite part of hosting has always been watching a woman arrive carrying the weight of everything life has placed on her shoulders, knowing that over the next few days, some of it may finally have room to surface.

I see this every time I guide someone into an ice bath. Before they enter the water, there’s fear. Real, primal fear. Can I do this?

But the moment that matters isn’t stepping into the water or emerging victorious. It’s what happens in between. Finding your breath when every instinct wants to fight. Recognizing that you have choices, even in discomfort. And knowing someone is right there beside you, breathing with you.

“Receiving support doesn’t make us any less strong. The other side is beautiful. But it’s what happens in between that changes us.”

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Depth and play. Courage and rest.

This isn’t five days of nonstop emotional processing. There’s room to pause, laugh, share beautiful meals, explore the outdoors, rest, and form genuine friendships. We’ll make space for meaningful conversations and deeper reflection, but always at a pace that feels right for you.

Equine connection

Through grooming, groundwork, quiet observation, and Herd to Heart embodiment experiences, we’ll explore connection, trust, and presence alongside the horses. No prior horse experience needed.

Breathwork and movement at the retreat

Somatic Experiences

Notice where grief, fear, and old patterns show up in your body. Through guided breathwork, intuitive movement, embodied reflection, and optional cold immersion, practice moving through discomfort, reconnecting with yourself, and reclaiming the power of choice.

Meals are moments

Chef-prepared meals by Soul Nourished Kitchen invite you to slow down, gather around the table, and experience the joy of being nourished, served, and cared for.

Ceremony & ritual

Intentional moments of reflection, meaningful rituals, and shared experiences that invite release, gratitude, and deeper connection.

Time in nature

Explore Hill Country trails, hike along Inks Lake, and enjoy unhurried mornings surrounded by the beauty and stillness of nature.

Real rest & integration

Unhurried moments for journaling, quiet reflection, and simply being. Space to rest, process your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.

Connection before & after

Three online gatherings before the retreat give you a chance to meet the women you’ll share this experience with.

Three more gatherings afterward offer space to reconnect, integrate what you’ve experienced, and support one another as you return to everyday life.

HEALING AMONGST HORSES

“You can run but you can’t hide. This beautiful creature knows, and will mirror back to you everything you hide. The horse is a witness and will walk alongside you and teach you how to be free. You just have to be ready to be seen.”

QUESTIONS

Before you say yes

Do I need experience with horses or somatic practices?

Not at all. Every experience is guided and accessible to beginners. Our work with horses focuses on connection, trust, and awareness, not riding skills or horsemanship.

What if I’m coming alone?

You’re in good company! Many women arrive on their own. Our three virtual gatherings before the retreat give you an opportunity to meet your fellow Worthy Women and begin building connections before we gather in person.

Will I be expected to participate in every activity?

Every experience is an invitation, never an obligation. Whether it’s cold immersion, movement, or sharing during a group circle, we honor your boundaries and encourage you to practice the power of choice.

What’s included in my retreat investment?

Your experience includes four nights of accommodations, chef-prepared meals, guided equine and somatic experiences, retreat activities, and six virtual gatherings before and after our time together. Travel to and from the retreat is not included.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

A $250 non-refundable deposit reserves your space, with payment plans available. Your remaining balance is due December 31, 2026. All payments are non-refundable, and we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
